Fine dining restaurant in Prague
Bellevue is set in a chateau-like building in the Old Town of Prague, overlooking the Vltava River. The interior of Bellevue mixes modern and traditional design elements. The food is exquisite. The menu includes a selection of expertly prepared fresh fish, succulent meats, and finished off with sumptuous desserts. The wine list features classic international wines and champagnes. The restaurant also stocks some of the finest Czech wines available.
The successful reconstruction has, on the one hand, added a touch of class to Café Imperial, but on the other had, it hasn’t stymied the unforgettable atmosphere of the Grand Café. The menu is a blend of Czech cuisine and some of the Chef’s signature dishes. All dishes are homemade without any artificial “improvements”: they are as pure as pure can be. Strongly recommended!
French Restaurant in the Municipal House (aka Grandiose Restaurant)
Art Nouveau Francouzská Restaurace in the Municipal house is one of the best restaurants in Prague. The restaurant covers the entire northern area of the right wing of the Municipal House which was built to represent the magnificence of Czech culture. The stunning interior is dominated by huge windows dating from the early 1920’s, as well as original vintage furniture, upholstered seats, and silverware. The Francouzská Restaurant is a thrilling establishment built in Czech art nouveau style, boasting prestigious and high quality cuisine. The restaurant provides an unrivaled atmosphere enhanced by live jazz and piano music.
La Casa Argentina
La Casa Argentina Steakhouse brings the tastes and ambience of South America to Prague. This fun, entertaining restaurant is located in the heart of the Old Town. La Casa Argentina has several rooms. Each represents a different aspect of Argentina. As with any Argentinean restaurant, the mainstay of the menu is delicious grilled meats, cooked al asador (over a fire) or a la parrilla (on a charcoal grill), with chimichurri sauce and grilled vegetables.
La Bodegita Del Medio
Restaurants in Prague are often so more on the classical side of the experience though La Bodeguita del Medio is a lively Cuban restaurant and cocktail bar designed in the colonial style of Old Havana. La Bodeguita is located close to Old Town Square, and is named after the bar of the same name in Havana: a favourite haunt of Ernest Hemingway, and original home of the Mojito. The menu offers a wide choice of dishes from tapas, duck, succulent steaks, and tender lamb, to a variety of fish, including tiger prawns, calamari, salmon, and sea bass. A Latin American band plays live music from Tuesday to Saturday night, and Cuban dancers perform traditional Latin American dances every night, making several appearances throughout the evening.
